Dr. Curtis Thigpen spent decades studying the fundamentals of tube amplifier design, evaluating classic circuits, analyzing experimental protoypes, and modifying and repairing customer’s amplifiers. In his most recent design, he incorporated all he had learned over the years with a new long-life, all-film-capacitor design, unique layout, clever controls for added versatility, 6V6GT tubes for 22 Watts, lightweight cabinet, custom-made, oversized transformers, and much, much more. The result is something new: The Eternum 22.

The Eternum 22 produces incredibly articulate and clear treble and bass while maintaining impressive note and string separation; thus, it is ideal for playing both lead and rhythm guitar. Moreover, this amplifier generates a strong, lively, present, resonant sound and is extremely responsive to the players’ finger dynamics. Plugging your guitar into it’s left input produces an aggressive tone reminiscent of British amplifiers from the past. For a classic American tone, simply plug into the right input. British or American style cleans, overdrive, or distortion can be achieved by input selection and how the volume, drive, and master controls are adjusted.
